Question Replacement Spark Plug for Maytag Uprights?? Modern Plug?

What is a good replacement spark plug for the Upright engine's? Is there a newly manufactured plug like an Autolite or Champion that will do the trick?

I've seen newly manufactured Champion X's that are the old school 2 piece type. Is that a good plug? Is there anything else that is a common modern cheaper plug to run on?

What brand and model are best?

I was told the Autolite 3095 is a good plug for both the Maytag 92's and the Uprights. Anyone disagree or is that a good replacement for the uprights?

I've used the 3095s in 92 engines and they work fine.

Original champion 34, or the Gas Engine special, find here on sponsor pages or evil bay. Maytag also had champion make dedicated plugs for their engines - they had the word Maytag fired into the insulater. They come in 14mm (for the twins, and 1/2" pipe base - for all the other engines, both uprights (all 3), the 82 and 92 engines, and all others. these are all long reach plugs, to get the spark deep into the combustion chamber. the Champion A-25, and the Autolite 3095 will work too, but I like the older plugs better.
