Default Power Products Model 200 Type 256 RPM Questions

Hello I am new to this forum and am looking for some help/advice. I have a Power Products Model 200, type 256 2-cycle engine that starts and runs great. Problem is it is running at 4500 RPMS. Does anbody happen to know if this is a okay RPM setting for this engine? Any help would be greatly apreciated.
