Have you filled the mixer at the little plug on top?

I think I would try a new spark plug, If that isn't it go back and check all of the timing set up from the beginning.

On my McCormick-Deering on the fuel pump I took the spark plug out so I could crank the engine over faster and took the fuel line off the fuel pump fuel would barley come out is that what it should do. I went and order a new spark plug for it. I was looking at the plug when cranking the engine it was fireing like it should but some times it was fireing inside the plug. Jerry B

The pump doesnt pump alot. If its pumping just cranking it is fine. Sounds like it is your plug. Try cleaning it by spraying it out with carb cleaner. Some times that will get ya going. Bob

When I took the plug out so I could crank it faster the fuel would came to the top of the fuel pump, And a few drops would get on the pump is that right. Jerry B

Super! I've indeed had exactly this same problem. And like you, cleaning the plug w/carb cleaner saved the day.
