Default Associated Chore Boy Paint

Does anyone have a current paint code for a Chore Boy? There is not enough original paint to match up. Some engines that I've seen are too orange. What traces of paint under bolts shows a deeper red. This will also be my first paint project. Tips welcome.

Exclamation Re: Associated Chore Boy Paint

The color is very close to Regal Red by Rustoleum. Unfortunately, gasoline removes it faster than paint remover! If you take a sample to a good auto paint shop, or a Sherwin-Williams Acrylic paint dealer, they should be able to computer match the color for you. A local paint shop here (the Painten Place in Denville NJ), will even load it into rattlecans for you! Shelf life of the rattlecans is about 4 months.
