Default Coolspring Questions

I have never been to Coolspring Museum. I was wondering if anyone could tell me about camping and motor homes there? Is there a place there to camp and park a motor home? I could not find any of that kind of info on there web site. If and one has a few mins to call me and fill me in on those types of questions that would be great.
thanks Andrew 513-616-5643

Andrew unless you are an exhibitor I believe the bigger motor coaches park on a designated field near the entrance to the museum in short walking distance.
It will be dry camping, so there are no hook ups.
Others may chime in here

First of all Andrew the phone number you posted doesn't seem to work. There is dry camping available with in walking distance of the museum but we do have showers at the museum and modern rest rooms. I would suggest getting there early for a good spot and there is no charge for camping but we do accept donations. Rob 814-952-1175

No real gates to speak of you can get in or out anytime in my experience. If we get there early or late we find our way back direction when the entrance is manned or simply drop an appropriate sum in one of the donation boxes.

What I meant to say is what time do they let you in to set up? Is it Wednesday at noon?

I believe that would be Tuesday. Jake Faith is the go to guy for setting up and he does a bang up job of making everyone happy. I am not in the habit of posting others phone numbers but will send you a PM with is phone, give him a call.

I have been looking at the extended forecast. It is looking kinda wet. How much rain gear will a person need? Will there be enough room in the buildings for everyone if it comes a down pour? This is the first time for us .

It's kind of a crap shoot with the weather, but you would do well to expect rain. Bring foul weather gear. And Umbrellas. And boots. Hipwaders aren't required but you never know.

I'll add that a rainy (or snowy) day at Coolspring still makes for a great show.
There's plenty of indoor room & activity.
It wouldn't hurt to bring some boards/pads to park on.
I do, & it keeps me from sinking into moist soil.
