Well I started on the hood and grill. It has been soaking in the electrolosis bucket for over a week .It had been brazed on and I had to take all that apart by some grinding and cutting and heated the remaining brass with the torch and pryed it apart. Was able to retain everything and the actuall damage they tried to fix on both sides was very minor. But they put enough brass on it to make a trumpet.
The broke bars in the grill have been replaced as they were missing in action.
It is coming along.I think I will weldup and repair the steering stuff tommorow and finish repairing the sheet metal portion of the hood.
While we have this great weather I am able to work with the doors open for good ventialation while welding.
