Default Continental V8??

Someone on the Contintals In Makes--Hemmings Blog site is looking for info on a fire truck V8 with "Continental Red Seal" on the heads...
Referred him to Monte's, altho I don't recall a Cont'l V8, but i don't follow their more recent developments ("more recent" for me means after 1950 or 60 or so)...
Apparently has the typical fire eqpmt dual ign, altho may have triple ign...
Only thing I could recall was dim memory of Gray Marine, which had V8s in their line, being absorbed by Cont'l at some time...
