The CHP management should have a file on the Moline.

There should be an artifact file there. If one is interested, then it is worth a shot.

No, I'll leave it up to you Moline aficionados. All you have to do is ask them.
Mr. Ledwith, and others, were conscientious about retaining the known history of the artifacts, and that material should still be there. That information probably did not go to U Guelph with the separate archival collection.
When you are at the show this weekend, ask Mrs. Hume, or one of the boys, about the Moline in their collection.

Was Hume's Moline sold new up in Canada or did they bring that one from state side later on?

No, Frank told me it came from somewhere in Indiana. I don't remember if he mentioned a specific name or place though?
I hope they pull it out of the barn this weekend. I would like to take some pictures, measurements, etc.

Jeff,
That Moline may have come from the Frank Miller Museum in LaCrosse, Indiana. Mr. Miller passed away in the late 1960s. Sherwood and Gladys bought some stuff out of there. The big wing feed Minneapolis thresher that I bought for a friend at the sale last year came out of there.

Here's another Universal that was at Coburg. A model D with binder attachment.

Those Coburg trials started in 1914. There should be info on the earlier years.

The eastern trials moved each year. There has been coverage on them in Antique Power magazine, including Cobourg. Also, Brandon was covered in AP a few years back.

Thanks for posting that article about the Model B in New Zealand. I have read that article a few times before. There are a few key features of a model B, some are noticeable in the pictures. The B's have an funnel style top radiator tank without cap, full semi circle fenders, and control levers that are fabricated from steel bar bent at 90 degrees. What is not pictured are the bull gears. The B's will have heavy cast spokes that radiate out from the hub and support the bull gear alongside four angle irons running around the circumference of the wheel.
Here is a picture of my B from this past winter. It is inside now, and has been dismantled further.
