Default Carburetors

I just picked up a box of stuff from an elderly lady that was going to get rid of these. The first two pictures are of a Tillotson carb and the stamp on it reads MS54A The second is a Zenith and on the aluminun tag it reads AS 548 In the second set of numbers it reads S 1043 or 8 and what was wondering what they went on.

Steve, according to a Tillotson carb list I have, MS54A is for a 1930-34 Novo Engine Co. model K.U.

This is the Novo that your Tillotson would fit.

If the last diget is a 3 then it's for a LeRoi CR, MR, RR etc. if it's an 8 then it's a LeRoi S engine. Either one might fit variations or other engines I didn't do an extensive search.
