Default Adding a water pump to a John Deere G

I am going to add a water pump on my 51 G, i have the new lower tank for it and i am going to buy a genunine G water pump for it. Someone told me that you need to grind some out of the frame to make it work. If somone has done this can you post a picture of it? My grandpa bought this tractor new and i dont like making modifications that cannot simpley be unbolted and be put back to original if needed
Thanks!
Johnny D

Johnny, you have to move the cross member. I'll find the service bulletin that tells how to add the water pump and send it to you if you want.
