Default Red Power Roundup this weekend

At the Desmoines Iowa, Polk County fairgrounds, the wonderful red of Red Power Roundup. Come and see the tractors and engines, or look through the vendors.

Well day one got a little warm. A few engines, mostly tractors and most of them after 1950. Was fun to see the IHC high wheelers. It's a bit spread out, with no signs. If you go, do get a program and study it. It sends you hiking.
I am sure there are 500 tractors, but less than 25 engines. A few for sale. I liked this 10 hp M, it's a 1921 model and was bought at Baraboo a few years back. A couple of Tom Thumb and some Lbs.

Bill Ready brought in this great old piece. It is a Marsh Harvester made in 1873

Bill really is a collector extraordinary. The sickle sharpeners can be very rare. Especially the wood framed ones. The seperators can be hard to find.
This is a fairly large show , but if you are nit an IHC, one probably would not appreciate it.
It reminds me of the time I went to Waverly Neb show. It may have been Jd, don't remember, but there were hundreds of what we're modern tractors when I was growing up, and nit what I think makes a show

I had never seen one of these IHC model K Roadsters, made in 1919. One of 2 known.

This one belongs to one of the Waukee land owners. I have rode in this around the old show grounds.

Exclamation Re: Red Power Roundup this weekend

I finally found a real engine. It came all the way from Luisiana .
I am in the market for a high wheeler, just need to get a quarter million quarters rounded up first.
