Default 1925 Rumely M

Hi I’m restoring a 1925 Rumely model M. I am looking for the gasoline tank priming pump assembly and any diagrams on how the fuel lines were ran on it. Also looking for the glass for the lubricator have went through it just the glass is broken. Thank you for any help.

I got a glass for my Manzel lubricator from Romo machine in NY. They probably still sell them.

Nice original tractor Dan.It would be a shame to restore that one i would just try to get it running or atleast get it running better then it is depending on what the situation is with this tractor. With the priming tanks most folks dont actully use them they just hook them up for show.Does your tractor have the "Last Vendors" tag on the left fender?

Yes it does have that tag! I have the history of the tractor since new when it started its life in Saskatchewan original receipts and manual. It is close to running but not there yet

That pump in the starting tank is a "DOLE" pump, Many of the larger cars from back in the 1920s had one mounted in the dash to give them a shot of gas for starting, they were on Oldsmobile, Chrysler, Pontiac, and others, If you check with some one who collected up old car stuff of that vintage you might find one.

A couple of years back when I restored my M model those Dole pumps were available through War Birds restorations in the USA. they were new old stock, you may have to source new plunger washers to replace the original ones as they were dried up and failed quickly. I found a hydraulic service who provided these for me.
