I seem to only get the cover page of the manual from that link... is the whole manual there? I’m in a REALLY slow connection rn so maybe it won’t download...

David, thanks, I did find some more information about the lambton museum. Looks like they have a steam engine and some threshing equipment. If I have time off duty and we’re close I’ll try to swing by.

The Lambton County Museum has some nice pieces in their collection. Neat old tractors, steam engines and a pioneer village. I went down there years ago to look over their collection of Goodison material in the archives. My 18-36 came from down in that part of the province and I was trying to find sales records for the tractors sold. No luck.
I heard rumour of paperwork being dumped curb-side following the sale of the plant or Goodison family home. Not sure when that all took place? Who knows what happened! Shame though.

My Father and surviving Uncle spent the day moving the Fordsons from their resting places, he also snapped a couple pics of the Hart Parr. I sure wish I could have been there to help!

Three Fordsons were outside, one had a tree growing through it, all were sunk almost to the axles... the restored one has been stored inside. They had to leave the one with bad rear wheels there for now as they couldn’t get it on the trailer with the equipment on hand. They had a busy day!

Looks like we’ve arranged to leave the Hart Parr where it is (inside) until transport is arranged. My father doesn’t have enough indoor space to store at the moment. I’ll be looking into transport estimates this week.

Behind the rad, under the fuel tank? I’m afraid I’m very new to H-P’s other than passing interest when seeing one at a show and what not... feel free guys to point out any details as I’m here to learn also! I do remember this tractor being at a show when I was a kid and seems to me everyone thought it was very complete but I really don’t know all the details about these.

Those sheet metal pans under the engine and fuel tank are missing on many tractors, probably missing on most, making your new tractor very authentic.

So the ship is in Sarnia today... searched up the Lambton museum, checked out their website and decided to go. Called a cab and headed out. When I got there I found out that that location is the archives only, the physical exhibits are in Grand Bend it doesn’t say anything that I saw on their website about another location. So almost $100 in taxi fares later, I got a pamphlet

That’s a dandy looking pamphlet tho! Kinda expect that type a thing to happen to an Eagle or a Rumely guy, but you got a Hart Parr mister! Lol

The topper is I stopped for a cold beverage to drown my sorrows and forgot the pamphlet on the table with the bill with the day I’m having, I’m surprised I didn’t blow up the ships engine when I started her up for departure an hour ago...

When I went out there 4 or 5 years ago, the surviving Goodison paperwork was at the Lambton County Museum in Grand Bend. Is it still there or are you suggesting it has been turned over to the archives?

I’m really not sure, the girl there said they may have some goodison material at the archives, but would take her a little while to find it. I decided to catch the same cab back to save costs. Sometime when I’m back In The area with more time I may try to get back there. Would be good if I was joining a ship in goderich or Sarnia, I could fly in a day early and have the whole day to visit both site. Probably rent a car be cheaper also.

Received a very generous off from my uncle last night... he knew I was pretty tapped out from buying the Hart Parr, he offered to cover the shipping costs for me as interest free loan! She might land on the island in October!

You should ask them to send you a list of their Goodison files, then you’ll know what you want to see when you go back and won’t end up searching through boxes of unwanted stuff. Archives tend to save everything but don’t always have it filed conveniently.
