Default Chucks Sindelar's 9 on it's 100 year tour

Chuck Sindelar and his 9 horsepower Case made several stops around the state on a tour celebrating its 100 birthday, or was it his, I can't remember which.
I know it has been talked about briefly in other threads, but maybe Chuck or others could share a little more about it.
Here are a couple pictures taken at the Sussex Antique Power Association show in Sussex Wisconsin.

Dean,
Nice looking Ford TT truck too. Shall we tell people your truck is how we haul my engine from show to show while on tour? The tour my engine was on in '07 is not yet over, but merely a short interuption for this "short" cold spell and will be continued in '08 when it warms up a bit and my 9 is 101! We are now in another Jan. thaw here. It will be plenty warm enough tomorow to fill her with water and continue the tour if you'd like to stop over and give me a hand with the handholes? What part of the state would you like to go see. I don't want to go out of state because state inspections are a PITA when crossing state lines and have to carry extra pop valves because state rules vary. Also have to carry a hydro pump to be able to prove to inspecters that the boiler doesn't leak too bad. IMHO that is all a hydro pressure test does anyway is test for leaks.

It looks real nice. It was nice to get a ride on it at Oak Creek.

Terry,
Did you get any of the birthday cake at Oak Creek? Maybe there was none left, as it seemed only right that I take two pieces.

One of the stops on Chuck's 2007 tour was a stop at our Southeast Wisconsin Antique Power & Collectible Society show at Union Grove, WI. Glad to have you at our show and hope you come back in 2008

Yes I got a piece. I waited to all the kids and adults got some. It was the topping to the great sweet corn we had.

I surely had plans to be in Oak Creek, but circumstances prevented my trip. Mabe this yr sometime I will get a chance to see this "beast" in person. Thanks for the pics Dean, and thanks for the invite Chuck.

Dean you and Chuck going to man the 65 this year or do you have your sites on one of the Nicks. Should have plenty of rides this year. They are talking of doing the big threshing demo again this year.

Chuck you can tour up to our farm with the 9hp. and you wont have to worry about the inspectors hasseling you on the farm
and when you get it here you might as well leave it and take advantage of our free lifetime storeage

Colin,
Is that heated storage? As cold as it gets up that way is enough to crack cast iron, saying nothing about brass monkey's. Does the wind ever blow up that way? I am not sure that I could adjust to the climate change? Or wasn't I invited to stay for my lifetime?

I think we could arrange some heated storage and maybe even find a warm place for you too
you wouldn't want to drop cast iron too far today. its colder than Garys colder blazes @ about-29F , haven't heard yet what the windchill is yet
...and it was almost summer on Sunday @ +25
