Ok when there is some realy old iron started to role in Europe than the first people that started to know are the Smoktakers....

Today it was an very busy day because we had an hole tractor journalists team on our farm.

It was Martin Smits with his photgrapher making and story and photograps for an big tractor magazine.

In North America there are Rick Mannen, Ed Bezanson and Patrick Ertel the writers for the tractor magazine story’s.

In Australia and New Zealand there is John Victor and his team writing the story’s in the tractor magazines.

In Holland there is Martin Smits from Tractor Connection.

http://www.tractorconnection.nl/nl-nl/home/

For more the 25 years Martin writes story’s for the national farm magazine "The Boerderij", "The Pioneer" and Trekkermagazine.

Martin is very intrested to write an story about the Old Reliable.
This contains the history of the Hart Parr company, the technical story about the Old Reliable, the personal history of the Old Reliable mention Canada, France and Holland and the story of Andrew Carnegie and his World Peace Palace in The Hague.

For us it is very importand to tell the story about the Hart Parr and Rumely company towards the people in Europe about what kind of realy fantastic company’s they once where and what kind of fantastic / beautiful steam looking tractors they once buld.

Now the plan was for an coople of months to place the Old Reliable in the field for an photo shoot.
But it was to much rainy the last day so to wet to go run it in the field.

So we had to do it on our yart.

For the Smokstakers already took some pictures outside aswel.

After an long time out of the dust again.

We like when they look dusty, worky and an little bit rusty.

Picture 1.
The field where we first wanted to post her in in front of the old hang willow.

Martin his photographer was taken pictures from me while i was given oil with the huge Jeannotte Brothers oil can everywhere on the Old Reliable.

I am looking forward how his article is going to look including the old pictures how these old Reliables workted on the prairy’s of Saskatchewan.
