I know Ken C in Newago had one, fairly large, missing some parts.

Pic 1 is as displayed at Coolspring for the 2016 show.
Pic 2 is before we bought it.

Here's a line in the sand regarding mfg dates of the engines on our list, it's not great but it's a start.
According to the Pacific Rural Press, Woodin & Little sold Webster engines from 1897 - 1901. We have one of these engines on the list :
2065 - Washington -Tagged: Woodin & Little, S.F. Calif. Hot Tube 3hp.

I've been told at least one more W&L Webster exists somewhere in Arizona or Texas, if we can get its SN that would go a long way towards dating these engines.
Like I said, this doesn't tell us much but it's a start.

Theres an inverted at Coolsprings. Is that one on your list? Here are some pics of a 4hp I fixed up for Mike O'Malley 9 years ago. I think it lives in Maryland now.

Here are some pics of a 10hp that I had a hand in restoring. Was sold at the Peter Knight auction in 12. Not sure where it went.

Well like I said one can learn something about every day. I did not know that Webster made a horizontal engine. Looking at them one can for sure see some things that are the same. fuel pump and Main caps stick out the most. Very neat looking Gas Engine.
Brian - Thanks for posting information on the Webster company. Not much out there that I know of. Neat stuff.
M Faris - got number 1337 V crank that is owned by Perry Kolb of Kansas and I am in the process of getting a couple of more serial number's form other Webster owners. - Ted

Dwaune: Here is a couple of photos of the Winch Engine that was in Texas and a couple pictures of a Ignightor fired Webster in England. Don't know of the serial numbers on either.
Also dose anyone owning a Jr (small 1 1/2) HP Webster know where to find the serial number. I know of a couple but neither can find the numbers. - Ted

This is the one in England and if the owner will forward the serial number it sure would help. - Ted
