You are riding your motorcycle and stop, take off your gloves, helmet, leather coat, get out the camera to take a couple pictures of an engine that is sitting outside someones garage, then put the camera away, put your coat back on, put the helmet back on, put on your gloves and then try to explain to your wife why there is engine pictures mixed in with the motorcycle rally pictures.

You carry a tattered picture of a flywheel engine in your wallet so other people can figure out what the heck you're talking about.

How about having your girlfriend break up with you because you spend more time in the shop than with her (Moro DID say personal experience)

You might be a stone hard collector, if you can spot a flywheel/tractor in a field under a tree--a quarter mile away while going 60 plus MPH-
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
You also might be a stone hard collector--if you can buy from anyone/anywhere on your word or with a personal check.

Thumbs up Re: You might be an engine collector if......

You might be one, if you have a '4 car garage' and cannot get a car in it
You might be one, if your cellar walls are no longer visible because they are lined with engine related stuff.
You probably are one if your wife tells you "if you bring one more thing into the house - I'm leaving! (Dam### I'm going to miss her!).
You might be one if you think there is going to be one right around the corner (I have found most of my engines exactly in that spot!).
You definatly are one, if you know Lee Pederson on a first name basis!

If it's a sunny and beautiful Saturday and you have the worst time deciding between going fishing and staying in your shop. Yep, that happens to me a lot!

Best of both worlds - You go fishing with your antique engine (a '54 7.5 fleetwin), and you Find an engine! (I actually found 2!)

LOL, That's great! You should download the Sanford & Sons theme song and put in on a CD and blast it from your truck the next time you go on a hauling trip or go to a show. Classic! But make sure it's an old truck...lots of dents and smoke coming from mysterious places other than the exhaust pipe/muffler. Sorta like some of our old engines......
