You Might Be an Engine Collector if, you know that a Black Bear, Woodpecker, Bulldog and Badger are more then just animals.

You Might Be an Engine Collector if, you drive more than 8 hours one way just for a show, and if it rains you know you still will have fun.

You Might Be an Engine Collector if, Its very easy to buy an engine and next to impossible to sell one.

You Might Be an Engine Collector if, you fix up an engine no matter how many parts its missing or how bad it's stuck; realizing you could buy a ruining one for half of what you have into this one.

Here's a couple I thought up
~ Jonathan

...if the dandruff in your hair looks more like flakes of rust.

...if the "neat condiment dispensers" on the table are actually old oilers, filled with catchup and mustard.

...if your wife has had more than one washing machine ruined by the wrenches, bolts, and small parts that were still in your pants pockets!

Ok, My mind's goin' 90/hr.

Two fellas were feverishly working on an old Stover, one day, when a funeral procession passed by. John stood up, removed his cap, and stood silently until the last car had gone. He replaced the cap and continued installing the last pieces of the igniter. His pal asked if he knew the deceased. John said, "Yeah, I knew her, I was married to her for 44 years!!"

Sorry but shouldn't that be;...... You find a FM mail box stand and say " I need that for my own, I'll make it RUN"

You might be an engine collector if, Your wife spots old iron before you do while going down the road.
You might be an engine collector if, Your wife knows what engine you are talking about just by Letters.

You might be a collector if youre
little sister tells you that you smell like oil
if youre neighbors call you a grease monkey
if youre coworkers ask you if you have kids and respond with yes i do and show them a picture and say "Isn't she cute"
a random person asks ya what is that big compressor for and ya respond by telling them what it really is.

.....Or the house is run-down, because you'd rather work on engines, than fix the house. (hope my wife doesn't read this )

You might be an old iron collector if one co-worker reads an ad to you and the other says, " He doesn't want that, it's not rusty."

.....You get to work and your boss says, "What the heck you have in your yard now."

Guilty on both counts

You might be an engine collector if you schedule your second hernia sugery to fall between bowling and the start of shows. (Done That!)

If your vacations are set up to visit a show each weekend in another state!

Your grandkids know better than to get married on show weekends.

Got to be more?

Now this is fun

You might be an engine collector if W-D 40 doubles as a cologne.

You might be an engine collector if your wife says "Get that engine out of the tub so I can take a bath".

You might be an engine collector if the neighbor looks in your garage and says "What are all those water pumps doing in there". ...and you've learned not to react like...

Your daughter is going to move into their new house during the same week as the Portland swap meet and you go to Portland. (she didn't talk to me for a couple of weeks after that one ).
