Default New F&J and Economy for the collection

Just picked up a couple of engines from a good friend. They were both local engines which in itself is pretty rare around here. The first was bought by his Grandfather and came with a large cast iron base and pump, however the pump was never used and is still in the barn, yet to pick it up. The engine was used to saw stove wood by flatbelt running on the face of the flywheels. It is a 5hp Fuller and Johnson KA kero burner. It has never been painted or cleaned up. My friend removed the mixer and cleaned it up but never got around to installing it back on the engine, I will shortly though . As a bonus it came with it's original owners manual and he has the original shipping hang tags for it (go to look them up though). The second engine is a 2 1/2 Economy E it was given to his father by a neighbor who also used it to saw stove wood, best thing about it is the nice big ole clutch pulley not pictured I have removed it to clean on it. Both the engines have very good compression and I look forward to proudly displaying them with a local flair!

They came from a true friend, no money was exchanged. I helped him sell some of his other items and he gave this stuff to me for helping him, I offered to pay him for the engines and mags but he would not accept any money. He is an older fellow who wants to make sure that the hobby stays alive and well!!!
