Default Cushman binder parts

Hi all,

Does anyone have a spare brass lever for advancing the timing or a print of one? I need the cone clutch pulley as well but would like to see if I can get this engine running first

Thanks Nathan

Give Merlyn Johnson a call or e-mail : 507-375-3398 johnsonrepair@hotmail.com.

I see the oiler is upside down in your photo's - never seen that.

I own two binders - one is missing the governor linkage and speed control is broken off. I run it with a Tillotson carb.

If you don't have any luck, I may consider loaning you one from my engine if you need to have a casting for a new timer.

Thanks for the link and contact info. I will reach out to them. Failing that I'll PM you. I think the oiler may have just unscrewed at the case and rotated down. As many of these as there are out there, I am surprised how few parts I see on eBay. I have a fairly well equipped machine shop so I can make what I need if I can find something to copy or a drawing.

Thanks again for the help,

Nathan

Just an update. There is an ad posted on engine ads for a bunch of binder parts. I was able to purchase both the items I was hunting for at a reasonable price and am waiting for them to deliver. Thanks for the assistance

Nathan
