Default 1-1/2 HP Economy

Hi, I have this 1922 economy. I have not run it for years and am having trouble getting it running, It will fire once when I give it a shot of starting fluid. How far should I turn the valve on the mixer, and do I put the choke plate all the way closed?
Thanks

Check valve may be stuck. Not pulling fuel up from tank. Choke with hand until fuel runs out mixer.

Thanks for your replies. I was thinking it may be a problem with the check valve. I'll take it apart and clean it.

My engine runs full choke and maybe 3/4 turn on the needle valve. But my engine needs work. It runs rich and runs slow Waiting for parts from Hit n miss enterprises.

I got the check valve out and cleaned it up. Still would not start so I removed the fuel tank to clean it up. The filter was plugged up. I had forgotten that about 30 years ago when I got the engine I found the tank in poor condition with lots of pin holes. I cleaned it as best I could and slathered Bondo all over it. It worked at the time but apparently the Bondo is deteriorating and I need a new tank. Who makes them for the 1-1/2 HP engine?
Thanks

Ok, Thanks. He has everything loaded up for the Portland show, so he'll get back to me after that.

It still won't start, so I am working on a process of elimination to fix problems. First I pulled off the points and magneto assembly. I filed the points. When I put it back together do I need a special gasket material?
The Webster Tripolar mag seems to have a weak magnet. I have a huge magnet I can use to re-magnetize it but I have to get it off or at least partly disassembled so I can reach the ends of the magnets. Is there anything to look out for when disassembling it?
Thanks

Got the magnet off with no problem and re-magnetized it. Have good spark now.
