While cleaning out one of my IHC JUNK boxes, I found these Truck Wheel Brace Hooks, Washers and Nuts in the bottom . I knew I had them some place around here, in NJ. I need to make one "J" bolt for the set. Guess I’ll use them on my 4HP Titan Side Shaft Trucks to hold it steady . Just another project for spring time which is right around the corner .

I had a Mitral valve job, ring and spring’s (so to speak) operation 5-22-13 that has put me out of commission for a good part of the summer . Thank goodness I have very little to no pain and recovery is coming along fine. However, all I can do for now is watch the diet, light exercise, rest, check out SMOKSTAK, eBay, watch FOX and CNN till I can’t take it anymore, and do not strain or lift anything “HEAVY” (like 5-10#’s), and no driving . I have to be real careful for the next few weeks +. I begged a ride up to the pole barn this morning for some lookie-see of my stuff , and took a few photos of what I’m missing. Here are a few pictures of my 4HP IHC Titan Side Shaft sitting in the garage waiting for my attention. I wanted to take it to the Coolspring show 6-13-15-2013 but that’s not happening, or is taking out the 66 Pontiac and shifting it through the gears – DARN. I am anxiously “LOOKING” forward too having some real fun in the near future, even in NJ, when the Doctors turn me “LOOSE” .

It’s been a long wait to start the Titan S/S this year (2013) after my health issue, but today I felt up to giving it a try, and it started on the second turn of the flywheels without much effort , and kept running till it ran out of gas . In the background is my 1966 389 Pontiac with 3 speed on the floor which I took out today, and my 1994 Chevrolet 1500 with 448,000 + miles and still running good .

Sure wish I could drag it out to a show, but the Doctors told me to take the summer OFF………… and fully recuperate. I’m 3 weeks in to the 12 week cardiac rehab for my Mitral Valve REPAIR, so I just have to be patience, or is that a patient. Anyway, I have to just take it easy and don’t over do it. I hope you enjoy the video as much as I did watching it in real time .

I've been looking for a seat and bracket for my 4HP IHC Titan Side Shaft for quite some time, and today at a "FLEA" market, there was an IHC seat and springs sitting on a table . The seat is correct, but the spring support is not. Now I'm looking for the bracket. Here is the seat I found today, and a picture of the bracket I'm looking for. A reproduction is fine... .

The day was February 21, 2014 at 4:00pm. After making the deal a few weeks ago, my 4HP IHC Titan Side Shaft was loaded on a trailer going some 1,237.23 miles +/- to its new home . I can really say I enjoyed sharing my story here on the “STACK” as I brought her back to life. I remember her first gasp of breath and wheezing to keep running even though she didn't have much fuel to do so. It took a lot of hard work, and with the help of fellow “STACKERS” (THANK YOU, we got her done). Even though we never made it to a show together, we decided, it was time for her to go to a new caretaker of OLD-IHC iron. Here is a picture of her on the trailer, then all wrapped up for the long trip, and another two going out the drive way, for the last time . Yes, it’s a bit sad for me, but as folks say, “It is what it is”, and “We have to do what we have to do”. Hopefully she (1 of 285CA models made) will be shown at many shows where she is headed, to be enjoyed by many, and not locked up in a barn someplace where no one can enjoy her antics (monkey motion). I can truly say, we had a “FUN” trip, even here in NJ, on the way through .
