Default restoring old Briggs and Stratton

Hi im john briggs and stratton questions? I'm trying to restore my first old Briggs and Stratton engine I bought two old Briggs and Stratton enginesone has identification plate on it it's a5S Briggs and Stratton the other has no identification numbers whatsoever I tried to put the cover of the 5s on the other one and it's too small how can I tell what engine the other one isany help would be greatly appreciated thank you have a great day John

Pictures for one will help out a lot, from there a bore and stroke measurement will be very helpful. Also, which carb model it has...

Just a quick guess, but if both engines look the same, i think the 2nd engine is a 6s. The 5s has a 1.5 stroke, 6 has 2 inch stroke.
With pictures, a bunch of us can help identify.
