Default Giverny France "Le moteur est dans le pré"

Just returned home from a trip to France and had a great time. We were made most welcome to this picturesque part of France, flowers everywhere including the engine show and wonderful French music. We totally enjoyed this show and the generosity of all.
Our entire trip was amazing. France, "we will visit you again".
Thanks to a wonderful host, Jean-Pierre, at the show and very nice B & B with great food and welcoming hostess and husband.
English translation is "The Motor is in the Meadow". I found some videos and will post some of our own after the weekend. Enjoy

Brian,

Know what you are talking about.
France is still an very nice an exotical country to vizit.
Planning also an new vizit somewhere next winter to Paris and the Versailles to watch the horse sleighs of the old kings of France.
The country site in the north looks like North America only the houses are much more ancient look.
Must have been realy amazing to live on the country site more then 100 years ago.

About the French chanson you are right aswel.
Like the old chanson very much.
And lot of new artist are standing up at the moment.
Here is an new French artist called Zaz.
I watch an lot on saterday evening to the French Chanson shows from the old Olympiade.

This new French artist called Zaz is having something of the voice of Edit Piaf.

Here she is singing Paris for the aniversary of Jacques Dutronc.

Thanks for sharing your wonderful video’s with us.

Greating from Les Pays Bas/The Netherlands,......

Brian,
You beat me to it. I have been planning to go to this show for a couple of years now, but somehow every year something else is preventing me from going.
I know it is a very nice show with a very nice atmosphere. I just will have to put it on the calendar for next year and let nothing cross that planning.

Hello all , I was in Giverny last week-end (with one rare Blanche & Lecaron gaz engine), you can see many pictures here:

Note the Lenoir, the unnamed next and the early cône-valve Niel
