Default Portland Update

Just dropped my camper off at Portland, there arent many more spots with electricity. The camp ground is already filling up nicely. And for next week the weather looks to be in the mid 80's and in the 60's at night. And so far, there is not any "liquid" in the forecast "so far", but my mudd boots are already loaded.

I have not found admission or parking $ info. The Pdf. event file on their site doesn't open for me. Is there a structure for one day or multi day visits? What is the traffic like on Thurs or Fri? Thank U

Parking is free, i believe admission is 4 or 5 dollars a day. Please correct me someone, if I'm wrong.

Admission is $5 per day. I think buying a membership for $10 gets you in the gate for all 5 days. Several people outside the fairgrounds sell parking spaces in their yard for $2-5, but there is plenty of parking in the fairgrounds.

The north parking field (coming in off county rd 100N) has shuttles running from the field to the gate. They ussually have some shuttles running to the outside markets on the main drag also. Too many markets to count and see, so be prepared for an exhausting day of shopping on top of the show itself.

enjoy!!

If anyone needs to sit down in the shade, i have extra chairs under my canopy... Look for my Kitty Krawler mini dozer in the engine area.

Closing in on it. Not sure whether to attempt to park the motor home on the grounds or to find a campground with electric and all. In the past we have stayed in Muncie.

Only problem with the camping spots at the show is those darned "no air conditioner" stickers on the power boxxes.
