Default Help with Troy Bilt Pony Engine

My father recently damaged his Troy bilt Pony and needs a new engine. Some how he hit a stone wall and cracked the block. The engine is a 130292-2970-01 Serial 86104710. It was originally my grandfathers and Dad thinks it is from 1980 or so. This engine has an Aux PTO that runs the reverse. Anyone know where I can get a replacement engine? I found a used 135292 on Ebay. Anyone know if it will fit? Thanks

you engine was produced in 1986, if the carb is in good shape, then a short block would be the way to go. the short block comes assembled with new piston/rings, rod, crank, cam, etc and all gaskets required to transfer the old parts to the new engine. you can p/m me if you have any other questions or need help.
