mine pictured above is missing cooling shroud/housing and starting hardware. now trying to gather parts for this machine and wondering if the marine units were built handle and/or rope start. the magazine ad above doesn't show enough for this briggs newbie to tell. is there a way to tell which start method mine had with what is left. maybe different bolt pattern handlestart opposed to rope start shourd? the only thing left on the crank was a small gear which i think both methods used. anyone have any pics of other amg's or bmg's. different magazines ads would help too. thanks.

Here is a picture of my Briggs, I think it is bigger than yours. I saw a small Briggs Marine in AB this summer, it had US army markings on it. Derek

i just got parts pages for them from ebay and determined if it came with decompression its a handle start motor. also the gear on the crank is another giveaway i've learnt. now i'm trying to find out if a 46 "a" cooling shroud and crank starting parts will work on this 41"b". i don't have any "a" parts pages. thanks
