I sell on ebay and have always wondered how some people get the money they get with such lousy pictures. No closeup of the plate-picture pac is the same price up to 6,$1, or 12,$1.75 - If you're paying for it why not utilize it ?

Greg,
where did u get a WMG ? I couldn't see who was bidding the ID is scrambled. Dennis, these engines are out there. I found mine at an automotive swap meet for $ 50 at first I almost passed it up, glad I didn't. Did anyone see that 2 bolt rusted up(looked rough) FB head bring $ 406 yesterday ?

Even though it has the wrong gas tank and is missing the air cleaner elbow and air cleaner, I would bet it will bring a price north of $ 1,500.00 before the smoke clears on Sunday. Like they say they did not make many and you can go for years and not see a good one for sale. Most times the rare engines trade between collectors and never see an auction. Good Luck Thank You Harry For a great Site.....

I'll agree Sky.. But if you want one NOW and money is no object then it's just the price you pay to play.. * I might add, 13 bidders helped it along to where it ended but it Only takes two bidders to set a record.
I wish i had 3 to list

Be careful with this seller all he likes to glue things, cover up etc. I bought a WMI from him , had a cracked head ,missing cylinder fins, burned more oil than gas ( no joke).plastic gas tank.. just be careful. He won't refund your money.
Sorry for the rant ! I just don't want to see someone get taken like I did especially $600.00 Plus.

Hmm....that ebay name rings a bell now. Took me a while to think but i got it now! I baught a WMB from him 2 years ago. looked great in the auction but when i received it the shroud was banged in (not the shippers fault) and it had a crappy screwed up carb on it. It ran good enough for him to sell it. well i didnt complain. It would probably have costed me more then to just shut up and fix the problem so i just left positive feedback and said everythings fine. Damn now i think about it i should have left a neutral or negative on him. I agree, stay away from this fella guys. When it comes to engines of his, you dont know what the h*ll you may be getting. I got some proof outside if anyoone wants to come over and see. Laiter on i found original orangish red paint under the "new" black paint which leads me to think it may be a monkey wards engine. I think some of his engines are a bit steep in price anyway. If it means anything i found a good original FE briggs on ebay. Just wanted to put a bug in yer ear I notice the FE looks the same as an FH other then stampings on the block and a tag down low on the shroud as to the FH which has the tag up on the shroud and stamped. Back to the T model auction, besides i never knew a true engine guy to say "engine is 75 plus years old and no guarntee's" If your trying to get over on someoone you may say that but an engine guy will tell you EXACTLY whats wrong, what may be wrong, and what needs fixed IF ANYTHING. I know i would and i DO!.

I bought a WMI from him too. It was also built out of #(*~! The flywheel was busted, starter clutch was broke, the breather was glued on. Looked good enough on the pictures and not one mention of the faults, just said ready to showI could not get one response from him about it so I left a Neg.
