Default Help with identification

Got this wisconsin engine and looking for info.

Model: AENLD

Spec #: 366575

Serial #: 5237931

Also looking for a carb rebuild kit, bendix. It leaks, and is very hard to get started. Thank you.

The AENL entered production in 1957 and was an upgrade of a general family of engines. The "D" suffix indicates the engine had a Stellite exhaust valve and probably a valve rotator.

Bore and stroke were 3" X 3 1/4", developed 9.2 HP at 3600 RPM.

Don't know when production ceased but that is a good engine. I've got a couple and they are easy to start.

For carb parts, or if you're like me and don't like working on carbs, contact Carbrescue.com and visit with Mark.

Take the numbers on the carb to a decent auto parts store, they can get a rebuild kit. The carb was used on a lot of different engines besides Wisconsin's.

Yes, runs real good when started. But I think due to the carb leak, it's getting hard to start. Had it on a home made log splitter.
