Default Look What Followed Me Home From Houston MS

In addition to the Mississippi Valley Flywheelers Spring Show an Auction was held the same weekend at at a different site. I was able to come away with an Economy 1 3/4 hp Model XK engine for the wife.
I did get to have some fun with this when I told her I wasn't going to restore it. She said well why did you buy it? I told her I didn't say it wasn't going to be restored. I said I wasn't going to do it. She said well who is and I told her she was going to restore it. She looked at me funny and said are you serious. I said I'm very serious. She said why do I have to do it? I told her if you restore it you will be prouder of the engine and you will be the talk of the shows for doing it. She said I will do it if you supervise just to prove I can This should be a really fun project for us to do together. I will keep everyone posted of our progress. The only thing I regret is I don't have a picture of the look on her face when I told her.

I also found the Wheelhorse at our spring show. That I have been looking for to put the 5hp Fairmont Railroad Engine on for my butt buggy.

I will be asking for help and posting other goodies we got at the auction soon. As with any auction we wound up with stuff we have no idea what it fits and don't need. That were included in lots with stuff we did need.

Ray,
These are the ones we were talking about the other night. I bought me a sandblaster and plan to start working on the Wheelhorse today.
