Default Approx 1920 vertical engine to put on a tractor

We have this 1919 All American tractor which now has a 1932 Briggs on it. We cannot find anything about it so we have no clue what engine should be on it.
We now are looking what engine could have been on it.
It should be around 3-4 hp an probably a vertical since its placed on the tractor with the crankshaft in line with the chassis. It should also probably be an air cooled one since I wouldn't know where to put a radiator or screen cooling.

Anyone got some ideas what engines would be available around 1920 that fit these requirements?

Kind Regards
Lennert from Belgium

I think a Mar Tan motor would look good. Or if you have the room and be able to carry the weight and be able to steer maybe a New way model like on the Centaur also in one of my videos.
Here's a link to my motor.

Maybe a Coldwell cub engine.

A Coldwell cub looks rather small to me, what hp rating did it have?

The New However looks kinda nice and might work for it. What time frame where these built?

The New Way that I have is no newer than a 1925. The tractor is a '25 and they were put on these a few years earlier.

Lennert, check out this photo from the forthcoming Tired Iron Museum auction in NY:

Looks to have a similar engine to yours?

All the best

David
