Default Air Horn

I found this set of horns in a Recycling yard this week. Made by Kahlenber Air Horn. It is missing it's valve. I hope to try it soon. It has many coats of paint on it.

With that light on top, I would suggest a marine horn not train.
For a valve you could use a truck brake relay valve and a smaller control valve to control the relay. Still need a lot of volume.

Being two chime I wonder if it sounds like the classic semi truck horn? I would be itching to put some air to it!

Yes I think it is from a ship or ferry too.

Mert: NICE find… . Can't wait to hear it. I have a few air horns and they are cool things to have in the collection. I use an air valve in my air supply that I get of eBay (https://www.ebay.com/itm/Air-Horn-Bi...53.m1438.l2649) to control them. I sound mine off with my ACAC engine (https://www.smokstak.com/forum/showt...=165882&page=8) with about 50#psig of pressure at times, and of course my shop air whenever I want. One should use ear protection as they can be quite loud up close. Still having fun, even in NJ on the way through .
