Default IHC M horse cart 6hp tool box

Can anyone provide measurements and or photos of the tool box (H 5270) that came on the 6 hp M horse cart. Length, width, height and hinge style will be very helpful. They appear to be metal not wood. Thanks

I think they were the same as the portable Mogul engine box.

Yes, I believe they were the same as the Mogul. I have had one on order going on a year now! Good things come slow sometimes. But I have the dimensions and several pictures of an original on on Mogul trucks if that would help you.

Thanks everybody, I was able to look up and find some pictures of the Mogul tool box it does seem very similiar. Gemmer1, yes the demensions would be a great start. Is the bottom of the box wood and the lid metal? Its hard to tell from the pictures.
Did the Mogul box have the same part # H5270 ?

Here are the dimensions of the box:

16 1/4" (wide) x 11 1/4" x 8 1/4" (high).

The raised portion of the lid is 1" in from the edge on all sides and it is raised up about 1/8".

It is all metal construction.

Hope this helps.

Jim

Thank you. I will keep looking for one. I didn't think an OEM would be around. Hopefully another will become available.

Thank you again.
