Default 2 1/2 titan up and running

I bought this titan and a 2 1/2 famous at a sale this past fall
i took a chance that there would be enough parts to get one running .once i figured out where every thing went started putting one togeather.
got the engine to run on a coil i found a mag then had to hunt down a gear witch just came in last night

still have the speed changer to put on now witch is on a other engine i just got .all i need now is a other crank and a few other little parts.

and should have 3 running. one on Batt and coil the other on a Webster

Brian, has to be a nice feeling to buy boxes of parts at an estate auction and turn these parts into a running engine again. Good work!!! Denis Rouleau

Yes it good to see things come together---What ckokes me is when I see engins taken apart and sold on ebay----Yes I know that if these guys didnt do it I wouldent get the parts I need to restore an engine. I know that I could never look at an engine and see so many dollars worth of parts---- or an engine is worth more as parts than whole---even if it was a fairbanks D. I will probably have to start thinking different some day !

yes Denis
it was nice as there was so many part's didn't know where they all went .took a bit
there was enough to build 2 and there was 4 parts the same to help on the third engine i just picked up

i took the cart from my dad from a fairbanks he got at at a other sale .don't know what he will say when he see his engine sitting on my shed floor.he stored it there for the winter

the titan is just sitting on it on the cart right now .i must say it is one smooth running engine

Brian: Lucky to find 3 of those, even basket cases . And yes they are nice runing engines . Thanks for posting for us to see. I have things stored at my Son's place down the road a bit, and on ocassion things get used and I have to go loking for them . I wonder whatever happened to my heat wrench that he "BORROWED" awhile back .
