Timing changes while running my 1HP Titan pump engine,

Unhappy Timing changes while running my 1HP Titan pump engine,

and it quits , but it starts right back up. After some investigation, I found that the igniter push rod timing bushing was a bit "egg shaped" and as it turned, the timing changed . So what I did was put the bushing in the lathe and turned it to be concentric. Now it's nice and shiney as shown in the photo and needs to be put back on sometime, when it gets a bit warmer here in NJ.

It looks like you took a day off from flea marketing. Nice job and looks like new.

Hang in there, the next thing you know we'll be complaining about it being hot.
