Default Mogul engine with high tension ignition

I was reading a copy of the original operators manual for 1- 2 1/2 hp mogul engines and it mentions and has photos of a high tention mag setup. I have never seen one setup this way are there any out there If so I would like to see a pic.

G,day all,

All the mogul's in New Zealand are high tension ignition, as are all the International M's.

These engines are very common here and most have gear driven rotary Bosh or Dixie mags. They all start very easily and are great runners.

I do not know why they are HT, but I suspect that these engines were shipped to meet the agents specifications, possibly making easier to get spares.

IH weren't the only makers to do this. Novo's were the same.

Associated's all came here with LT and they are common too, so it is likely it didn't really matter.
