Default "Fence-Row Fresh"

Found this in travels today along a fairly busy highway ... not for sale. It is pretty rough. IHC hay press with 6 hp Famous ... very rusty, missing fuel pump linkage, oil & carb cast cover caps, ignitor, rotary mag, tag, muffler, fuel piping, rocker stanchion broken, etc. The press is also rusty & missing parts. Could find no serial # on end of crankshaft ... too rusty. Cylinder head appeared to be uncracked with no welds.

A few more photos. A different chain sprocket I'd not seen before.

Doug, there is one exactly like that sitting in a hog lot about 5 miles from my home. The gent won't sell it because he said its too good a hog rub! The one near me is still complete with a big Webster mag on it.

Thats a nice find. That guy has stuff scattered all over in that one picture. I found one with a 3-5 IH B engine with the oversized hopper Looks like it might still work in a week's work or so.. The guy said I could look but take NO pictures. . Believe me I will be back & talk to him again

Tommy - You need to find a "better" hog rub for your neighbor. Try Coolspring!!!!

Yeah Tom, I've tried several times to come up with something better for him and I think its his excuse to say its not for sale. He stopped by my office at the courthouse several months ago and I hit him up to buy it (for the 20th time probably). He said "maybe I'll just leave it to you in my will".

I think this guy may be open to offers for something "better" for a yard ornament but his is at least 20 feet long!! I don't know what I could offer(in his mind) to top it & it's certainly a project that I don't really need. It looked like this might be a recent endeavor as an ornament .... area recently mowed & some sort of mulch spread.
To Tom Wahl: It's only 13 to 14 miles from Scarborough, less as the crow flies .... thought you might have been able to smell it from that distance.
