Question Goulds Trash/Mud Pump

I'm looking for some input on a Goulds mud pump. Anybody out there restored one or got one to pump water? Need to know what to use on the plunger for a seal.
Thanks for your time,
Roger

Roger,

My son and I recently restored a Rex mud pump.I bought a new plunger diaphram for our pump from Magnum pump co.I don't know if yours will be the same or not.
Magnum bought out CH&E and still uses the same pattern for the diaphram that they used 80 plus years ago.I made the check valves from rubber sheet that I bought from McMastercarr.
I don't know how to post a link, but if you go to youtube and type in[stover mud pump 2] theres a video of our pump running. If you're pump is similar, and you need more info about the diaphram, let me know. I'd be happy to help you.
Good luck Mike
