Default Canberra Rally 2014

The Canberra Historic Engine Club Rally is coming up on 5th & 6th April 2014. It is always a great rally and has a fantastic location at Tuggeranong Homestead. It is one not to miss

Hi Patrick, I am going to get there this year! Every past year I have had good intentions of going only to have work or family bring my plans undone! See you there. Cheers Luke

The Canberra Club held a working B yesterday, the grass has been slashed, the fencing erected and the toilets and showers tested and cleaned.
We still have a problem with the uncooperative cows though. They walk up to the doors of the toilets, find them locked so just crap on the footpath!
Hope to see many of you here next weekend.
Tim Baker.

Hi Rob, I am after a check valve (Fuel) for a Fuller & Johnson, Buzacott, or Rosebury 3HP Horizontal. I think they are all virtually the same. Regards John Mathieson

Great to know that these check valves are about. I will catch up at Canberra. This is one of the last things that I need for my latest restoration. Cheers John Mathieson

A very, very wet rally. I made my fastest photo run ever in the brief break between rain showers.

Enjoy.

Looking at those photo's i really feel for you guys, looks like you nearly got washed away. Bit like the national rally here a few years back, always hot and fine weather but for that weekend the weather was cold and windy with horizontal rain. Mind you there seems to be some nice engines there. Not many diesels, are they frowned on there or no one really has any?

I think it was co-incidental that there were no diesels visible at the rally. There may have been one or two under tarps. Usually there are a few at most rallies.

Great Pictures Patrick given the conditions. I had a good time & my mogul ran well regardless of the rain. Glad that I packed gum boots. Cheers John Mathieson

Yes is is a United (it even says so on the hopper). A bit of a cut and paste error in the page building and no proof reading when I had finished. It is hopefully fixed now.
