Default Cleaning Crinkle Paint

I just picked up a really nice 1930's Ritter dental air compressor to pump up bike tire in my garage, and the paint looks almost like new but it's got a lot of dust in it and I've had a lot of trouble cleaning crinkle paint in the past. Does anyone have any tips or tricks? I'll post a few pictures soon.
