Default Planet Jr/ Briggs and Stratton 8-R6

Recently aquired a property that was vacant for the better part of the last decade. Buried in the barn amonst other thing I found a 1950's Planet Jr walk behind tractor, brush hog blade, tiller, and plow. Looking for a place to get parts to get it running again. Briggs and Stratton had this forum on their list for getting that sort of information.

Most of the time you don't need parts.Just take it apart clean the points real good. Clean the sump out. Be careful not to break the gasket if possible. Use formagasket when you reassemble. This is just to get it running. If you are real fussy and restore it then parts are available from vendors on this site

Good to know as far as parts. Just looking over the motor it looked to missing a filter or something on the one side, maybe an air filter.
