MORO PUT GAS IN RANGER TODAY CRYED THE WHOLE TIME GAS IS 2.65 AND RISING WHAT IS THE DEAL?????? NOW THAT IT HAS WARMED UP THAT I AINT FREZZIN THE FORD TAKES GAS GO FIGURE DON IN INDIANA SEE YA AT PORTLAND

We've been $2.65/gal for a month already. Lotsa tears shed up here.

i'd say the problem is simply the angle of the filler pipe into the tank.. the fuel doesnt get away quick enough to stop the nozzle switch thingy from cutting out. this is common on flat try trucks, anyway, u need to lift up the cap end of the pipe, if its a drama, or or just park on a slope!

Now don't be to hard on those Ford Trucks. 95% of the Ford trucks sold in the last 10 years are still on the road.

The other 5% of them actually made it home!

I must be lucky to have owned two of those 5%! My 96 F-150 never had trouble when filling either tank. My 97 F-350 diesel did spit and foam but I put that down to the fuel. But since I did the filler and vent mods on that truck I can top off both tanks no worries. Sometime ya gotta fiddle and mod things to get em working right. Remember just cause the factory made it that way don't mean it's right or will work!
