Thank you for the information, Craig. Bill and I would like to come visit you. We enjoyed meeting you at the auction and you had a lot of great information. We would like to learn more and take more time to visit with you. It was a long day for us and the auction was still going. You gave Bill your business card and we will be in touch. Suzie Carroll

Suzie,
Congratulations on keeping the Greyhound in the family. In this day of global tractor trading, it is a rare and precious thing when one stays local. But keeping a tractor in the family is even more special.
Best wishes with the tractor.

I couldn't agree more. It's an honor to keep in the states and also in the family. I tried to lost pictures last night but the website wouldn't post them. I will try again when the tractor is home.

I found the serial number,it is 22884.I could not locate any block assembly #'s.It does have the smaller 2 rib fenders, and does not have the the heavy road wheels. It is the one from the Tired Iron Museum. It has been sprayed gray, but there is green paint underneath. There is a picture of it in these posts, but I can send another if you wish.

Scanned from the original Greyhound brochure image advertising 1915. This was done by famous Toledo artist assigned to Banting Mfg.

Scanned copy from original 1920's supply catalog. This is the small manufacturing plant out west of Dorr St. The old address was 2979 Dorr St. Current is 2375 Dorr St Toledo, Ohio. Some part of buildings are still standing including chimney.

About a month ago. Someone told me there is a Greyhound tractor going to be sold at auction. I asked where. He told me Illinois. Yea I know that tractor when I last seen on Labor day weekend at Pontiac, Illinois show around early 2000. Tractor was displayed and their name was Specchio Farms. Spoke to him one time. Got home from work and reminded myself go online Google search for Greyhound tractor. Found it in one minute says sold it today! Anyone knows who is the new owner? 1925 is the wrong year. It should be 1929. Here is the link on youtube that the Greyhound tractor sold today. (June 7th 2016). Also see their tractor pictures down on first page. Small world I just Googled it and the same day sold at auction!

Hey guys, Coming up for the pre 30 Aumann Auction on April 13th. I do have history of this tractor. This is actually 22-42 Greyhound Thresherman's special not a 20-35 Greyhound. They look the same but there are lots of options to it when it was sold new for 2475.00 from Banting Mfg Co. Toledo Ohio https://bid.aumannauctions.com/m/lot...%2F%3Fpage%3D4
