Default How to clean a diesel fuel tank?

It is a 130 to 140 gallon aluminum tank off a diesel truck. It is in pretty good shape but I can see a little crud in the bottom, to me it looks like a sprinkling of gritty substance. I want it gone. Is there a feasible way to get it shiny inside?
