Question '89 Suzuki OHV 4-stroke single?

My brother has a 1989 Toro model #26622 witha Suzuki OHV 4-stroke single, air cooled on it. The carb is leaking bad everywhere. Tried cleaning three times and replacing bowl gasket? Could float be stuck? Who made these carbs Mikini? Are there rebuild kits?

Im not fermiliar myself, with those engines but there are carb. kits available. you'd have to go to a mower dealer/repair shop that deals in toro to get the carb.kit. you have to show them the engine numbers and it probably wouldnt be a bad idea to bring the carburator with you that way they can physically SEE the carburator and make sure you get the correct kit. the leaky carb sound's like the needle isn't seating properly, eaither that or a sticky or incorrect setting of the float.

What will need to be done to fix this a complete rebuild or just a good clean?

I would do both if it were me. spray out every little passage and little jet you can find with a can of B-12 chemtool carb cleaner, let that dry out, then put the rebuild kit in it. make sure your float is set level aswell.
