Default Looking for DC Magneto plans

Hello
As in the title I`m looking for the plans of DC magnetos of any kind ( how it works plus how it`s build how they were attached in the ignition and in what kinds of ignitions they were used,schemes) I need it to my project in schhol and I want to understand how they behave and what`s the difference between an AC magnetos.Any kind of info will be good advise explanations or filles because in internet I couldn`t find anything what describes these machines.
Sorry for my english if I have made mistakes.
I will be grateful for any help.

I`ve searched that site across and I didn`t find the plans or how does dc magneto works...that is why I`ve made this topic, i thought tha somebody could know this stuff,

get yourself a copy of audels auto manuals from 1919-1935,they are easy to come by,do a google search on audels or amazon books,they also show up on ebay quite often.every antique car.engine collector should have acopy they have many pages on early dyno magnetos,show how they work ect.btw you can use a dc heater motor out of a early auto will work real well.any old motor/generator will work as long as they have magnets on the field.good luck
