Default Engine Show in West Central Indiana

Hope to see some fellow engine lovers out in Rockville Indiana this weekend. Nice place with good food and always a great place to relax in. This place has the nicest crowd always lots tractors and engines. There is usually a antique tractor pull and parade all three days. Come on out and see. see ya!
West of Indianapolis about 45 miles on Highway 36!

I stopped there in the spring. It was a good swap meet. I would love to go there for the show, but I have to put on a party for the Inlaws family. It is a great area and plenty of room. I suggest everybody go that can. They are a great bunch of people. M&WJoe

Randy's post didn't get overlooked. We stopped by on our way through. Well, let's say that we didn't take I-70 and went west on US36 instead. Ended up at Rockville in time to take in the show.

Here's Randy with his display trailer...

Byrl Thompson was showing this 10HP Fairbanks Morse Z. It beat a deep steady rythm through its conical stak.

You can see other photos from this show on the OFES board and the Lugs and Cleats board.

This is a 1909 6HP Stover along with a smooth running 1912 8HP IHC Famous owned by Donald and Paul Hollingsworth.

Enjoyed visiting with you Harry. Thanks for posting the pictures. I don't know if you could hear us from your campsite tonight but Kent and I went back and ran the engines for a while after dinner. Hope we didn't keep you up.
Fred

I know that a lot of folks in Southern Indiana and Illinois knew Bryl from engine shows. Bryl passed away on Sunday 4/8/2012.

Byrl was interesting to talk to and nice as could be!! Always took time for you, to help or just talk. Met him for the first time in Elnora In. right after he bought the 10 H.P. FBM. He always helped at the shows till a couple years ago. If you had meet him , you would have liked him. He will be sorely missed.
