With four hand holes it is a 25 hp or larger. Very nice find!

Spotted this old Reid laying beside the road this week. No flywheels or main piston, just scrap at a glance. Then I stopped to pay my respect to the old girl, and what did I see. A hard to find Item- Flyball governor

Wow, all I find laying beside the road are empty beer bottles.

Hey Reed Engine, This is a Wv mile marker old well head painted orange looks like it still has the rods and tubing. The old Reid engine is probably burried in the road

Got a call last week about a Bessemer halfbreed still in the building, Looks like I'm alittle late. Oil city bedplate, Bessemer clutch & exhaust manifold is all thats left. The junkers picked up ever piece of babbitt and removed the brass cores out of the stops , even broke the flywheel and carried it off. Who knows the bedplate maybe gone now. Sad.......
