Default G204 rectifier/regulator change Wisconsin to Kohler

I have a older G204 Hobart welder with a 4 cyl. Wisconsin Engine. I am trying to replace my Wisconsin rectifier and regulator with a Kohler rectifier/regulator combo unit PN 41-403-09. My stator has 2 AC wires plus a red wire that went to the original regulator. Kohler reg/rec has connections marked "AC +B AC". I realize the AC wires go to AC connections and I'm pretty sure "+B" goes to ammeter/battery, but not sure where the red wire would go. Could anyone please lead me in the right direction or a link or a schematic to the proper way to wire this? Thank you so very much in advance
