The Spotless Co. aka "The South's Mail Order House" were regular advertisers in the Southern Planter magazine in 1908 and 1909. No engines advertized yet.

If you have literature and/or engines from the Spotless Co. Inc. I would like to see it.

Thanks!

Apparently, when Charles Jacobson was in Saratoga Springs NY he began to have legal and financial difficulties, as this 1917 document shows.

This is the only other type U Jacobson sideshaft that I know of. I believe it is in Great Britain now.
Now many followers do we have outside the U.S. and Canada? Let us know.

This is the oldest evidence in print of the first engines that I have. Note message on the bottom. Makes it 1904.

Automatic engine with dynamo. Note use of water-spray in exhaust and gas regulator shell as a possible accumulator.
